Meet New York and L.A. Artist, Tatiana Gabrielle

Mandy Lancia

Gracing our blog today with her unique "urban minimalism with a dash of punk" style is Tatiana Gabrielle, an artist who splits her time between New York and Los Angeles. We love her taste in fashion, her work ethic, and the way she makes our Cape Town timepiece look so cool. To hear more about what interests her and who inspires her, read on. (You can see more from Tatiana Gabrielle on her Instagram account.)

My name is Tatiana Gabrielle, and I'm currently based in between New York and L.A. for work. I wear many hats as an artist, content creator, and now a personal assistant. I work on a lot of projects at a time because I'm very introverted. Art has allowed me to meet other artists and curators over the years. It's the only thing I'm willing to share with strangers.

I wish I was able to understand the importance of free time. I rarely ever have it, because I strongly believe that time is valuable in terms of work. Whenever I do chill out, I'm usually spending it talking to loved ones or studying astrology.

My friends and family [inspire me most]. I'm very lucky to always be around another artist, intellectual, or musician. Seeing their work and their drive pushes me each and every day to do my best.

[My style is] minimalistic but true to my inner-city and punk roots. Sometimes messy. Sometimes extremely clean-cut.

Meet Washington DC Photographer and Stylist, Antonio Dillard

Mandy Lancia

Taking over our blog today is Washington DC's Antonio Dillard. Popularly known for his work, deserted in urban, the content creator, photographer, stylist and dancer travels between New York and Los Angeles, seamlessly capturing minimalism and simplicity in his photography and styling.

I'm inspired by the littlest details and seeing things outside the box. Inspiration comes from the heart, so when I see other creative's passionate about their art it drives me to perfect my own craft. I spend more time often dreaming about how I can impact the world and make my dreams a reality.

In 5 years, I'd like to own my own store. It would be a conjunction of different offerings where creatives can meet, sell their products, collaborate, and do business while also pushing the movement of our ideas across the world.

Cape Town has become one of my favorites [Le Coeur timepieces] because it goes with any outfit for any situation; I wear it so much I almost forget I have it on.

I would describe my style as urban minimalism with abstract pieces that bring simplicity to a comfortable look, while still having that edge. It doesn't get any better than expressing one's self through art or style; people get to visually witness who you are.

Meet Hong Kong Native and Aussie musician, Janni

Zoey Bloom

This past weekend, we caught up with musician and artist Janni Pan to explore a few of Hong Kong Island's favored neighborhoods. Gracious, joyful, and genuine, Janni has a warmth about her that's immediately noticed. Read on as she chats with us about her personal style, what's been inspiring her lately, and how music has shaped her life.

I draw inspiration from anywhere. I’m definitely someone who is really influenced by emotions I have in the moment. Or I might have a random melody, or line pop into my head, and I’ll work and develop from that idea. I always have an open note on my phone full of random lyrics I’ve written while commuting to and from work. You’ll sometimes find me singing into my phone to record a melody. I write about my own personal experiences and I also draw external influences a lot.
— ON WHAT INSPIRES HER WORK
Janni Feature_3.jpg
Although I’ve spent the majority of my upbringing in Hong Kong, I will say that I was brought up with a very western mind set. In terms of music, I’m very open-minded and like to listen to a variety of different genres. I love mainstream pop, but I’ve also learnt to appreciate old-school jazz, blues, techno, etc.
— ON HER UPBRINGING SHAPING HER TASTE
I feel that being able to manage your own time is the greatest freedom you can have. Waking up and knowing that I’m in full control of what I do today... [that’s] empowering.
— ON WHAT TIME MEANS TO HER
I’m loving the Milan! The gold casing just matches so well against the black. I also liked the New York - it was hard to choose!
— ON HER FAVORITE LE COEUR TIMEPIECE
My personal style is different every day. It depends on my mood, or sometimes I may wake up wanting to go for a particular vibe or look. I can go from super sporty, to super feminine in a flash. That’s what I love about fashion - you can reinvent yourself everyday.

This one’s from my dad: “don’t worry about failures, what’s better lies ahead.”

Meet Chicagoan and Branding Creative, Adeline

Amy Mokris

We caught up with Chicagoan Adeline Ania, the marketing guru behind Wicker Park's hippest pizza hub Dimo's, sales rep at Oak + Fort and contributing writer at Off-Kilter. Read on as the PR student and Algerian native shares with us her biggest inspiration, favorite way to spend time and how she sources her classic sense of style.

Traveling has provided a lot of perspective and insight for me. I came to America at a really young age, so learning about my country’s culture and history has also brought me a great deal of peace.

The concept of feeling misaligned with my true origins has made its way into a lot of my personal work and writing. I also like to explore the ideas of loneliness and connecting with others, respectively.
— ON WHAT INSPIRES HER WORK
I think that the older I get, the more my time becomes a precious resource to me. I love spending time alone, visiting museums, flipping through art books and fashion magazines. I love reading and watching films. Quiet is very sacred to me, especially on rare days off, so I channel activities that can be done in calm settings.
— ON WHAT IT MEANS TO SPEND TIME MEANIGFULLY
I think all the timepieces embody simplicity and elegance, but I especially love the casual tones in the brown band balanced with the rose gold face of the Lisbon.
— ON HER FAVORITE LE COEUR TIMEPIECE
Easy.
